HHA is accepting applications from interested homebuyers to purchase newly refurbished single family homes through the Neighborhood Stabilization Program. HHA is currently acquiring foreclosed properties throughout the City of Huntsville and will offer these homes to qualified purchasers in move-in ready condition.
The homes may be purchased by income-qualified, low-and moderate-income buyers. Preference will be given to veterans and returning service men and women, persons relocated due to Hurricane Katrina, and the elderly. Other preferences and qualifications may apply.
Applications are available now and may be picked up at the HHA main office at 200 Washington Street or downloaded here. All applications must be returned to the HHA main office during the hours of 8:00 AM and 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Applications will be accepted from September 17, 2010 through November 30, 2011.
Assistance in completing applications is available at the HHA main office and reasonable accommodations are available to persons with disabilities.
